I think these tips are really helpful. If we have patience to follow all, I bet we can make progress with our English as soon as possible. As for me, I think having desire and knowing our motive is the most important with which i can carry out the others. What i find it difficult is to maintain my passion to keep studying hard.

This article is very useful to me. I think, the biggest obstacle is our consistence to pursue studying at the hard time when the world seems to fall down before us. Everything goes wrong, you lose the direction but you can not know how to get over. However, if our motivation is strong enough, we will overcome it and achive success. And, we will find out that learning English is interesting and funny! I strongly believe when you know what your learning style is and apply it to your study, you will succeed!

From my point of view, these tips are enough for a person to be good at English. However, I am still confused about practising speaking without any environment, I mean we are too busy with all the work at university, so we don't have time to go to English clubs or somewhere we can speak English freely. Could you suggest a solution for this problem?

These tips are very useful. It'll help me to find out some more ways to improve my learning English skills. However, it seems that students today are so busy and have to learn many other subject, so they consider learning a new language as the most difficult thing. Besides, Vietnamese teaching method still concentrates too much on grammar and reading, and either the structure of exams. Therefore, it's hard for students to practice speaking English. One more important thing I'd like to point out is that Vietnamese students are not familiar with self-studying. They just do, study and follow what teacher asks. That's why learning a new language is boring to many students.

If we have enough consistence, we will get success. but I'm afraid we don't. because most of us meet a lot of troubles and don't have enough good conditions to follow all of these tips. But anyway your advice is useful.

hihihi. Useful! But can i add something. In my opinion, you lack a very essential fact: Love. I think if you adore English, you can find your own solution which are more appropriate for yourself. It's the key for me, hihihi. Anyway, I still declare that the tips which the article give us are so useful and worth for us making "a check" for ourselves of all of the factors above.

Some Tips for Learning English Effectively
If I can add one more tip into this list, I will choose the tip “entertain yourself”. I mean that entertainment is also a good way to learn English. I myself have learnt a lot in this way.

For example, you can learn a lot from music, movies or games. If you are interested in these things, you can learn from them very easily. Really! From the lyric of a song, from the content or the conversations in the movies, or from the instructions of a game, all of them can be a challenge for your knowledge. And when your entertain yourself, you can also learn something from it.

When I say games, I mean not only the computer games or online games (2D and 3D) but also the games in which you need some of your knowledge, like crossword, or rebus puzzles, or riddles… Lessons may come from all these things.

I totally I agree with this article. Since I enter English Department in this university, I've immersed myself in English. I've made a progress already, though my English is still not so good as others. I'll try other methods to acquire this language. Moreover, I have difficulties in listening skill. When I was in high school, I didn't care much about listening. According to this reading, I'll find time to get acquainted to this by listening as much as possible.
It's so true that if you can practice speaking day by day, especially with native speakers, your speaking will be improved and sound more spontaneous. Pronunciation is very important. It partly show the level of English you've mastered.

when I first read the artical's title, i'm afraid I've to say that I had expected to meet something more useful to me!! Actually, I think That all things listed above are not strange things to us at all but following these ones is not easy!!In my opinion,at our level, we need something more detailed and practical!!all those things are just in commonand mind-centred! however,it is no doubt that these are worthy for new students of languages(I mean in their very first days learning languages) so ,it is valuable for secondary or highschool teacher of English ,as a result!
