I love the song "Mùa Hạ Cuối Cùng" (Composer: Trần Lê Quỳnh) a great deal. I also translated it into English. It may not be completely correct, but I like it because I spent a lot of time doing the translating.

THE LAST SUMMER

Dưới hàng cây, anh ngước nhìn về phía em
Nhớ da diết tháng năm vụng dại sắp qua
Mai thời gian sẽ xóa nhạt màu/mờ dấu chân
Những bạn thân trên phố gặp lại, sợ không nhận ra nhau

Under the tree canopy you were looking up into my face.
I badly missed all of the schooldays going to pass, when we had been naive young people.
In the future the footprints we left would soon fade away.
And when thinking about seeing those used to be my close friends accidentally, I was afraid that we would ignore one another.

Những lời nào chưa nói mai đã xa em rồi
Nhánh hoa nào cầm tay, anh vẫn chưa tặng em
Mai sau này sẽ khác, khi đã xa nhau rồi
Xin giây phút này mãi se lòng chúng ta

Why did you not tell me all of your secrets left unsaid?
You even did not given me the flower in your hand
Everything is to change when time goes by
If only this moment would always be in our minds

Sẽ nhớ mãi khi mai ta về, lòng như mây trắng giữa trời ấu thơ
Những ánh mắt trao nhau tha thiết gợi về ký ức mùa hé đã qua
Sẽ nhớ mãi sau bao thăng trầm lặng im anh đứng như những hôm nào
Mùa hè cũ như trở về cùng tên em...

I will always be thinking of our coming back to the old school when everyone's heart was filled with joy of teenage years, just like the clouds' gathering happily in the blue sky
think of how we were looking into one another's sincere eyes and recollected every scenes of the last summer in our memory
will always be thinking of how you were standing at the same place as in the old days, after all of ups and downs in life.
Seemingly, my very name brought back your old summer...
