Here’s a question for all parents: Do your kids like to read? Reading is one of the most important skills for children to develop. So how can you help?

Start reading aloud with them early and often, even as they grow older. Make it a goal to set aside some time to read aloud together everyday - even if it's just a funny article in the morning paper. You read, and let your children read too. Encourage them to sound out unfamiliar words. Treat mistakes as an opportunity to learn, not an embarrassment.

Use your reading sessions as a time to encourage talk and discussion…that helps build language skills. And finally, introduce your children to the library. Make friends there. Get kids their own cards and make library visits a regular family experience.

Nowaday, Children like watching TV or playing game than reading book, so train for kids practise reading as your idea is a good way. To me, if a process you receive an information slower, you can remember it longer. This is the reason why I can't agree with you more ! Smile
